Wellness, countryside and sea

We dreamed of our life for 10 years and then, with courage, we decided to make that dream come true by moving to Stazzo Pittorra. 

Our historic stazzu is located in Santa Teresa di Gallura, near the beach of Porto Liscia, just a short distance from the hamlet of San Pasquale and only a few minutes from Porto Pollo. All of this is set in the countryside, surrounded by centuries-old wild olive trees and Mediterranean scrub. Carefully restored with respect for its original character, it can accommodate two adults and one child. From the outdoor patio, guests can enjoy a view of the La Maddalena archipelago. A small vegetable garden is available for guests. On our farm we have a vineyard, an olive grove, donkeys, chickens, and bees.

Our passions

We decided to turn our passions into an opportunity. Roberto dedicated his city life to tennis and the study of shiatsu; with respect for the land, we chose to build a real grass tennis court, surrounded by eucalyptus trees, wild olive trees, and hay fields.

For shiatsu treatments, we have dedicated a yurt and two wooden platforms, allowing us to offer sessions in an atmosphere of complete relaxation for our guests. Treatments can also be provided in your accommodation.

Farming and beekeeping have become my passions, and we love giving our guests the opportunity to share with us the rhythms and experiences of country life.

Our farm

Stazzi are the traditional country houses of Gallura. Our agricultural project keeps us engaged all year round, with the dream of recreating the circular economy typical of rural life. We did not have much farming experience, but curiosity and study led us to establish an olive grove, a small vineyard, and a blueberry patch. Thanks to our bees, we produce excellent honey, and our chickens provide us with fresh eggs almost every day. To help keep the land clear, we rely on Fischio and Fischietto, our donkeys, who graze across our 7 hectares in the shade of centuries-old wild olive trees.

Where we are

Our stazzu is located just 2 km from Porto Liscia beach, a bay nestled between Porto Pollo and the island of Culuccia. Porto Liscia and nearby Porto Pollo are ideal destinations for windsurfing and kitesurfing. The island of Culuccia is an unspoiled paradise that can be visited for a nature experience or to spend some time on the beautiful beach of Macchiamala.

The closest village to us is San Pasquale, a small hamlet of Santa Teresa Gallura where you can breathe in the authentic atmosphere of Gallura, with a bar that is always open and two grocery shops. Palau and Santa Teresa Gallura are about 15 km from our stazzu and in summer they offer many entertainment opportunities for all ages. From the port of Palau, ferries depart for the islands of La Maddalena and Caprera.
